Silver Needle White Tea

Silver Needle White Tea

$18.00

Silver needle tea could be described as one of the purest forms of tea. It is made from only the youngest, unopened tea buds, which are hand-harvested for a few short weeks each spring. The tea buds are then gently withered and dried with no rolling or oxidizing in order to preserve its natural character. This can be seen by the coating of silvery-white fuzz that remains on each bud.

This tea originates from China's Fujian province and was once reserved for the imperial court, but is now celebrated as one of China's most treasured teas.

The tea produced from these buds have a mellow fragrance with a light hint of sweetness. It is smooth and refreshing and the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing mid day break.
